The visit of lecturers from Glasgow University Dental School

Lecturers from the Department of Prosthodontics, Glasgow University Dental School visited our college from 18 December to 27 December 2009.

The visit was as follows:

21 September 2009 Inauguration of New Academic Year 2009/2010 at Wroclaw Univeristy of Environmental and Life Sciences (more details).

21-23 September 2009 – Workshop in Professional English

Programme:

• workshop for the students of the first year on the topic of: "Coping of Full Dentures" - lecturer Michael Thomas Broad – with translation into Polish language
• "tea" meeting – the students of the first year -discussion concerning dental technician profession in European Union
• workshop for the students of the third year on the topic of: "Attachments and Implants"  - lecturer William Grand Taylor - with translation into Polish language
• "tea" meeting – the students of the second and third year -  discussion concerning the newest technologies, dental materials, and dental laboratory equipment
• workshop for the students of the second year on the topic of: "Designing of Partial Frame dentures" – lecturer Michael Thomas Broad -with translation into Polish language

On 24 September 2009 lecturers from Glasgow, teachers from the College and students went on an educational trip to Poznan – The 9th Central European Dental Products Exhibition CEDE www.cede.pl (more details).
